Around three weeks ago, we went to look at pre-schools for Migo. We went to this Montessori around 3 kilometers away from our house. The school occupied the first floor of a two-storey house. The lighting was a little inadequate. Although the owner / administrator was lively, the teacher was a bit timid for kids to be excited about. Migo was evaluated by the teachers. However, Migo didn't want to go alone and instead had his Mom sit beside him while he was being tested by the teacher. After Migo's evaluation, he noticed that we were going around looking for another school. He said, "Ayaw ko na isa pang school, punta na tayo kay Ate Mika!"
We found this other school which was closer to our house (less than a kilometer). It had a four-storey building with bright lighting, big rooms and very enthusiastic teachers. Migo easily went with the teacher to check out the rooms, the toys and the books. He agreed to be evaluated alone with the teacher. After leaving the 2nd school, Migo said, "Isa pang school!."
Guess which school we picked? : )
